Total solar eclipse 9 March 2016 from Belitung with the Arsel community

Need to wake up this morning on March 9, to go to the place he chose to see the total solar eclipse of Belitung. There was even a traffic jam at the Tanjung Pandan exit at 2 am for those who decided to go to Manggar and also enjoy the sunrise the sea before a total solar eclipse ....

We naturally chose to share this moment with our friends from Arsel to Aik Selumar, which offered two places: one in the forest on the hill of Bukit Peramun and the second near their island, placed in a river, in an old tin mine. .. By respecting our customers and fear of prosperity in the forest, we have chosen this second place:

Greening: a contract between the Arsel community and PT TIMAH

Small parentheses: on February 24, 2016 an "important" contract was signed between the tin mining company, PT TIMAH and the Arsel community. The company bequeaths part of its land exploited and repeats the association, which is responsible for replanting trees for eternal reforestation ...: a good victory from the people who still see, well, their businesses are recognized and their natural protection is serious.

Reforestation, Liberation of Tarsiers and initiation to Nyrok Nanggkok

As part of collaboration with schools, this morning March 9 was the opportunity to plant more than 300 trees from different species on this land which was recently given by PT TIMAH, then, we were able to witness the restitution of Tarsius to its natural environment in TPA protected area by the Arsel association. This tarsier was captured by a friend of Arsel near his house who was surrounded by plantations but still had several trees but not enough for animals ... We all hoped for a good way to GMT (total sunny day, total solar eclipse), the name given to primates this small, which is quickly hidden at the top of the tree.

Then, the school students were initiated to enjoy Nyrok Nanggkok, a traditional Belitung fisherman.

Il fallait se lever tôt ce matin du 9 Mars, pour se rendre sur son lieu choisit pour voire l’éclipse solaire totale de Belitung. Il y a même eut des embouteillages à la sortie de Tanjung Pandan à 2 heures du matin pour ceux qui avaient décidé de se rendre sur Manggar et profiter aussi du sunrise sur la mer avant l'éclipse totale du soleil....

Nous avions naturellement choisi de partager ce moment avec nos amis d'Arsel à Aik Selumar, qui proposait deux spot : un dans la foret sur le colline de Bukit Peramun et un deuxième près de leur île, posée sur la rivière, sur une ancienne mine d’étain... Par respect de nos clients et craignant l’affluence dans la foret, nous avions choisi ce deuxième lieu :

Ce fut sublime : les nuages se sont juste poussés un peu pour magnifier le show...

Reforestation : contrat entre Arsel community et la PT TIMAH

Petite parenthèse : le 24 Février 2016 a été signé un contrat "important" entre l'entreprise des mines d’étain, la PT TIMAH et la communauté Arsel. L'entreprise lègue une partie de ses terrains exploités et rebouchés à l'association, à charge de celle-ci de replanter des arbres en vue d'une reforestation pérenne... : jolie victoire de la communauté qui voit encore, ainsi, reconnu ses efforts et son sérieux en matière de protection de la nature.

Reforestation, Libération d'un Tarsier et initiation au Nyrok Nanggkok

Dans le cadre de sa collaboration avec les écoles, cette matinée du 9 mars a été l'occasion pour planter plus de 300 arbres d’espèces différentes sur ce terrain récemment donné par la PT TIMAH, puis, nous avons pu assister à la restitution d'un Tarsier à son environnement naturel dans cette espace protégé du TPA par l'association Arsel. Ce tarsier a été attrapé par un ami d'Arsel près de sa maison qui est entourée de plantations mais possède encore quelques arbres cependant insuffisant pour l'animal... Nous avons tous souhaité bonne route à GMT (garana mata hari total, éclipse total de soleil), nom donné à ce petit primate, qui s'est rapidement dissimulé dans la cime des arbres.

Puis, les élèves de l'écoles ont été initié aux joies du Nyrok Nanggkok, pêche traditionnelle de Belitung.
